Your Role
As a Bank Teller, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, managing financial transactions, answering inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions regarding bank products and services, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and balance daily transactions according to company policies.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products such as savings accounts and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) protocols.
- Administrative Tasks: File documents, update customer records, and assist with lobby maintenance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior banking experience is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or financial environment.
- Skills: Strong math skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations quickly.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, patience, and a professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment and bank software.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the branch schedule.
