Job Overview
As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for handling customer transactions and building lasting relationships with our clients. You will ensure accuracy in daily operations and contribute to a positive branch atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed expectations.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, explaining products and services effectively.
- Verify identity and maintain strict adherence to bank security and compliance regulations.
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to branch management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area for optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in retail banking, customer service, or cash handling is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.
- Basic proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems (e.g., FIS, Oracle).
- Must be able to pass a background check and a credit check.
