Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, with 100% accuracy.
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing knowledgeable and friendly service at the counter.
- Perform daily balancing of cash drawers and reconcile transactions using the bank's software systems.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, explaining products, services, and security features.
- Maintain a pristine work environment and adhere strictly to all regulatory compliance and security policies.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote credit cards, investments, and other bank products.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or banking environment is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs when handling cash drawers.
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be bondable and pass a background check.
