Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service to resolve inquiries, answer questions about accounts, and assist with account openings.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual client needs and branch sales goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to bank security protocols, Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line area to ensure an efficient workflow for both staff and customers.
- Assist with the daily vault cash reconciliation and balancing of the teller drawer.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; prior experience in banking or retail customer service is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Basic computer proficiency and accuracy with numbers and financial calculations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and operate standard office equipment (ATM, check readers, etc.).
- Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check and a credit check as part of the hiring process.
