Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional customer service to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales targets.
- Manage and balance the cash drawer daily, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved.
- Identify and refer customers for appropriate financial products or services.
- Maintain strict adherence to all banking regulations, compliance procedures, and internal security protocols.
- Assist with opening new accounts and processing paperwork as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Teller or in a financial services role is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology.
