Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet members warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and services, and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Ensure the security of cash and assets by adhering to strict internal controls and audit guidelines.
- Assist in opening new accounts and cross-selling credit cards, loans, and investment products.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area to ensure a smooth member experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or prior banking experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service or cash handling experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic banking software (training provided).
