As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, ensuring our customers have a seamless and positive experience every day.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, handling deposits, and processing withdrawals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving account-related issues promptly.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet branch goals.
- Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining accurate customer records using bank software.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards to prevent fraud.
- Keep the teller workstation organized, clean, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team to achieve daily performance targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Fraud awareness and a strong understanding of compliance policies.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and bank software.
