Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues professionally.
- Cross-sell banking products and services, such as credit cards, savings accounts, and personal loans, to meet branch goals.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports with strict adherence to compliance and audit standards.
- Assist in branch operations, including lobby management, account opening, and processing loan applications.
- Uphold strict security protocols to prevent fraud and ensure the safety of the branch and its assets.
- Utilize bank software systems to update customer records and process electronic transactions efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in retail banking, cash handling, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Basic proficiency with computerized banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (may be required for local travel).
