Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing for customers.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with account inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Account Opening: Guide new customers through the account opening process and explain terms and conditions clearly.
- Cash Management: Reconcile daily cash drawers and balance transactions to ensure accuracy.
- ATM Maintenance: Monitor and replenish ATM supplies, ensuring machines are fully operational.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML guidelines.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products such as loans, credit cards, and investment options.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of a banking training program is a plus.
- Experience: Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Trustworthiness: Must possess a high level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Technology: Proficiency with computers and basic office software; familiarity with core banking software is advantageous.
