Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Verify checks and cash for accuracy and endorse checks according to bank procedures.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the vault and teller line.
- Assist in branch operations, such as opening new accounts and handling cash drawers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with financial software and cash handling equipment is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
