Responsibilities
- Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Provide personalized customer assistance and resolve inquiries regarding account balances, fees, and services
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products (credit cards, loans, accounts)
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Balance cash drawers daily and report discrepancies promptly
- Support branch operations by assisting with vault duties and record maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proficiency with banking software and digital platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Required: Teller certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
