Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, loans, and other banking services.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate banking products to meet customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
