Your Role & Responsibilities
As a key member of our branch team, you will:
Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet every customer with a warm, professional demeanor and provide exceptional service to build lasting relationships.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals and assist customers in finding the best financial solutions.
- Balance the teller drawer daily, ensuring all cash and checks reconcile to the penny.
- Answer incoming phone calls and resolve customer inquiries regarding account balances, transactions, and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment in compliance with all banking regulations.
- Assist in opening new accounts and completing required Know Your Customer (KYC) paperwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by branch schedules.
