Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile general ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, bill payments, and financial product information.
- Open new accounts and process loan payments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line area.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate banking products to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in math and cash handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
