Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and services, and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in opening new accounts and educating customers on our products and digital banking tools.
- Perform daily cash audits, manage drawer balances, and reconcile transactions at the end of the shift.
- Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities to increase customer value and branch revenue.
- Maintain strict adherence to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and security protocols.
- Assist in branch operations, including lobby management and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking or cash-handling experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations with high speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check, credit check, and drug screening as required by federal regulations.
