Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by answering questions, resolving account issues, and offering guidance on banking products.
- Financial Solutions: Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend credit cards, savings accounts, and other financial services to meet client needs.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, balance the cash drawer, and reconcile daily reports.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, security regulations, and federal compliance standards (e.g., BSA/AML).
- Operations: Assist in the maintenance of the branch lobby, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; previous banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills with the ability to handle large sums of money with 100% accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Technology: Proficiency in using computer terminals and MS Office suite; willingness to learn new banking software.
- Integrity: High level of trustworthiness and a strong understanding of ethical financial practices.
- Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch volume.
