Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to enhance the overall branch experience.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Introduce and cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area, adhering to all safety and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with branch management to optimize workflow and customer flow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical aptitude with a proven track record of accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic banking software systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by banking regulations.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
