Responsibilities
- Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products, such as credit cards and savings accounts, to meet branch goals.
- Verify and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist customers with account openings, balance inquiries, and daily transactions.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all banking equipment is in proper working order.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work with numbers precisely under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and POS terminals.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
