Responsibilities
- Process Financial Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for a diverse clientele.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and services, and provide exceptional service to exceed expectations.
- Product Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to introduce our suite of financial products, including credit cards and personal loans, to help customers meet their goals.
- Cash Management: Maintain strict accountability for all cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
- Administrative Support: Assist with opening new accounts, processing account closures, and maintaining lobby organization.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling experience or customer service roles in a retail or financial environment is strongly desired.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch operations.
