Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions, bonuses, commissions, and expense reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll tax regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in 401(k) and HSA contributions
- Generate year-end W-2s and 1099 forms while maintaining strict data confidentiality
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and timekeeping system audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Deep understanding of federal/state tax filing requirements
- Proven experience with garnishment processing and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
