Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and service needs.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products and services to meet members' financial goals.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including BSA/AML compliance and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail banking or customer service is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be able to pass a background check and credit check as required by banking regulations.
