Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Cash checks and verify identity for all transactions.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance transfers, and financial services.
- Cross-sell bank products such as credit cards, savings accounts, and investment options.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to branch management.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank security and compliance policies.
- Ensure the teller line remains organized and operational during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in customer service is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and cash handling experience.
