In this pivotal role, you will serve as the face of our branch, ensuring our valued customers receive exceptional service while handling their financial transactions with precision and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products such as savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and credit cards to meet sales targets.
- Resolve customer inquiries, account issues, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Adhere to all bank security policies, compliance regulations (BSA/AML), and internal audit requirements.
- Assist in maintaining the lobby and teller areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and balance your teller drawer at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred; however, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count money rapidly and accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (bank bags/boxes).
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing speed.
