Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with precision
- Provide personalized financial advice and product solutions (checking accounts, savings plans, credit cards)
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to strict regulatory compliance standards
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to help customers achieve their financial goals
- Operate core banking systems and digital banking platforms with confidence
- Contribute to branch security protocols and fraud prevention measures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless branch operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- 1+ years of cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts
- Proficiency with banking software and digital tools
- Familiarity with banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
