Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to build lasting relationships.
- Cash checks and verify currency and identification documents according to federal regulations.
- Open new accounts and assist customers with account inquiries and problem resolution.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet sales goals.
- Ensure the teller line moves smoothly by maintaining a neat work area and accurate records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
