- Process and submit insurance claims with 95% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate monthly revenue reports for leadership review
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify eligibility and authorization
- Identify process improvement opportunities in billing workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proven ability to resolve complex insurance denials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and billing software
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
