Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle a high volume of daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve account issues with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Cash Management: Maintain strict control over cash drawers, ensuring accurate counts, balancing daily settlements, and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend and sell our banking products, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and mortgages, to meet branch goals.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in maintaining lobby cleanliness, organizing paperwork, and updating customer records in our banking software systems.
- Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory for high-potential candidates.
- Skills: Strong math skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in handling money.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: Must possess a high level of honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by branch schedules.
