Responsibilities
- Cash Operations: Accurately process cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing transactions while adhering to strict security and compliance protocols.
- Customer Service: Build lasting relationships with clients by providing superior service, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Sales & Service: Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend appropriate financial products and services to enhance the customer experience.
- Banking Operations: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, balance cash drawers, and reconcile daily settlements.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, federal regulations (BSA/AML), and internal procedures to ensure the safety of bank assets.
- Administrative: Assist with opening new accounts, processing loan payments, and managing mail services.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a cash-handling role is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong numerical proficiency, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with banking software and ATMs.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion and ethical standards.
