Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update vendor master files, resolving any billing discrepancies or payment errors efficiently.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly AP statements and assist in the month-end close process.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment schedules and invoice status.
- Utilize accounting software to manage expense reports and credit card reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
