Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire, or check in a timely manner.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes related to Accounts Payable.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical files for all transactions.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and invoices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
