Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly payments via ACH and checks.
- Assist in the month-end close process, including accruals and account reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with AP software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume data entry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
