Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH and checks in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update vendor records and payment schedules in the ERP system.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting requirements.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
