Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and coding.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
- Maintain organized vendor files and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
- Utilize Excel and accounting software to generate financial reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
