In this role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable operations, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time. You will be the guardian of our cash flow, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring compliance with internal financial controls.

Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy of data and coding to the correct GL accounts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or queries promptly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for all accounts payable documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes as required.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding payment status and outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of invoice verification processes and financial controls.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UK Right to Work documentation.
