Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner to ensure vendors are paid accurately and on schedule.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Manage the AP workflow within the ERP system, including data entry and audit trails.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status professionally.
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting software and process improvements.
- Maintain organized and secure digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy levels.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles is a plus.
- Willingness to travel or work hybrid schedules for our North Carolina operations.
