Responsibilities
- Review and verify the accuracy of all incoming invoices to ensure correct coding, approvals, and tax compliance.
- Process and post invoices into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) efficiently within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the accounts payable aging report and proactively communicate with vendors regarding past-due balances.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain the vendor master file and ensure all tax documentation is up to date.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and general accounting duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and invoice auditing procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
