What You’ll Do:
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before approval.
- Manage vendor relationships, address inquiries, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and ensure timely payment schedules.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to input data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP experience is a plus).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup) and strong data entry accuracy.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general ledger functions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
