Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of invoices for accuracy, completeness, and approval compliance.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute monthly checks and electronic payments.
- Assist with the month-end closing process, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records and tax compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
