The Role
In this role, you will play a critical role in the financial health of the organization. You will process invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close activities. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they are coded correctly and approved according to company policy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions in the ERP system.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Assist with basic accounts receivable tasks and general ledger support as needed.
- File and organize physical and electronic documents for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
