Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for executive review.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly and year-end close processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow projections.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and general ledger accounts.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with GAAP and California state tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
