Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Perform internal audits and assist in the implementation of financial controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience with weekly payroll processing is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
