Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly accounting cycles including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Prepare statutory accounts and ensure HMRC compliance
- Oversee weekly payroll processing for 200+ employees
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements using Xero and SAP systems
- Conduct internal audits and financial controls assessment
- Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in UK accounting with payroll exposure
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, SAP, and Excel
- Deep knowledge of UK tax legislation and Companies Act
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
