Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
