Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, including HMRC guidelines and VAT returns.
- Provide financial reporting support to senior management.
Qualifications
- Relevant professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT Level 4) or equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax legislation and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
