Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll efficiently, ensuring all deductions, taxes, and compliance filings are handled correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and perform variance analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Conduct regular internal audits and maintain organized, up-to-date financial documentation.
- Communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in general accounting or a related financial role.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and ERPs (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
