Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including trial balances and adjusting entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget forecasting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional for office-based role).
