Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Oversee payroll processing with weekly disbursement coordination
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Lead month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in UK financial sector
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and payroll regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client stakeholder management
