Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor communications
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
