Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts with precision
- Process payroll and vendor payments accurately on weekends
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for Monday review
- Manage accounts receivable/payable cycles and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with UK GAAP standards
- Maintain digital financial records using Xero and QuickBooks platforms
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
