Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state accounting regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years of professional accounting experience (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
